I'm a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with my own unique style and specializations. I approach mental health related illness with a comprehensive plan that includes more than prescription medication.

I have extensive experience in both the psychiatric and medical field. I received a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College with major in Psychology in 2000. Subsequently, I worked at Butler Hospital as a mental health worker on a variety of inpatient psychiatric units. After receiving an associate degree in Nursing from CCRI (Community College of Rhode Island) in 2005, I worked as an RN for Southcoast health on a cardiac unit for 11 years. After working in medicine and psychiatry both, I wanted to make a more direct impact regarding an individual’s mental health. I received a master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in psychiatry from Northeastern University in 2016. Since then, I have provided evaluation and management of mental illness and have helped many people overcome significant obstacles.
